Decorating the hutch

These houses are some of my favorites. I leave them up year-round. At Christmas, I really go overboard decorating around the houses. Decorating the hutch for fall is lots of fun because I love orange, but who can actually decorate with it permanently? I can’t, for sure.

You wouldn’t believe it if I told you how often I’ve painted this tin tile. I use them everywhere. The same with this basket and these bottles.

Here’s the final dining room hutch makeover. The pumpkins on the top are from clearance at Hobby Lobby last year. They fold up flat, which is great for storage. The pumpkins are all handmade. I absolutely love making them and giving them away.

The blocks that read God is Good are blocks that read “Let It Snow” on the other side. I painted three of the sides white and added black stickers. In the winter, I turn them around and stack them up. I’m all about repurposing.

I love decorating. It is my second love, and I find it very relaxing.

I want to be grateful for all the joy I feel. That’s the best way to say “thank you”.
How about you?

Can you enjoy your life without feeling guilty?

God bless and have a great day.

Reflection is important Reflection is important if we are going to move forward. But many people don’t know where to begin. I have a great tool you can download for free. Share it with whomever you think will find it helpful. But the first question is why? Why look back over the year? Because this…

When time for ourselves is desperately needed.

Time for ourselves Making time for ourselves sounds so trite and way too selfish. I mean we read so much about it that’s it’s actually lost it’s meaning. It’s become nothing more than a popular trend, the whole self-care movement. And, yes, it’s important we care for ourselves. But I’m not talking about that. I’m…
