You have the power to overcome.

I hope this is a good day for you and you can look back over this day and realize you’ve taken a step, even a tiny one, to reduce your depression/anxiety symptoms.

But in order to do that, you have to get out of bed and get moving. Get dressed. Brush your teeth. Take a walk. Talk to someone. Do anything you will feel good about later.

Don’t get to the end of this day without feeling good about something.

If you’re new here, there’s a number of published posts that can help. This is a new blog but if you want lots more resources go to faithsighanddiy.com and check out the menu.

God bless you today.

Hi. I'm so glad you're here. My blog focuses on faith and mental health issues such as mood disorders like depression, anxiety, and dysthymia (chronic low moods that don't qualify as depression.) I post DIY and decorating projects when I can. My book, "Depression Has A Big Voice. Make Yours Bigger! (Expanded Edition), is on sale at all online retailers. I have a Psychology degree and post-graduate courses in Clinical Pastoral Education. I am a former hospital chaplain, Bible teacher, and retreat/conference inspirational speaker. Thank you for visiting and may you feel God's presence today.
