How to paint and refinish small tables in unique ways

So yesterday, I showed you a white pumpkin on a white table but I didn’t show you the table. I saved that for today.

I got this table from an estate. It was an estate for a distant relative and I was allowed to take what I wanted.

I picked out a few things.

This table is so unique. It folds up. I’ve never seen one like this so I had to have it. I love one-of-a-kind pieces. Don’t you?

And I really like small tables as witnessed by these I”ve painted in the past.

It looked like this at one point. Can’t even remember its former lives but it has had many.

Yes, that is aluminum flashing on the edge. I cut it in narrow strips and nailed it on with very small nails. The legs are painted Chrome by Rustoleum.

This table was a mismatch. The base was a sewing table and the previous owner found another piece from somewhere and put it on the top. It was one whopping dollar. So, of course, I had to buy it.

Then I painted it all red. Shiny red. This is the only picture I have of it painted red. We were having our floors sanded.

And finally this. This is my favorite. I painted Heirloom White over the red and then distressed it. I love it like this. It will probably go with me to the next house.

It’s painted Heirloom White by Rustoleum 3X

As I said, I love little tables. And I love to give them as presents. But they are getting harder to find all the time. And when I do they’re not as cheap.

God bless and I hope you have a wonderful day.
