Apples, apples, here and there. Apples, apples, everywhere.

apple recipes/food, dessert

What a wonderful time of year. It’s the time of year for baking apple pies, pumpkin pie, molasses cookies, all kinds of breads,….

Everyone feels like baking when the weather gets cool. Do you? I do.

I was at my daughter’s last weekend. She loves making homemade applesauce. These apples are so pretty, aren’t they?

The final product. Or at least, some of the final product. Homemade applesauce.

I was going to include some apple crisp recipes, but I found this over at “makingitinthemountains” and I thought it looked so good.

And then there is apple/pecan cheesecake. Oh, my. I made one similar to this last year and it was amazing.

I mean “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”, right?

I’ll bet you’re hungry now.

Have a wonderful day and God bless.
