Here’s some of my newest thrift store finds

For a change of pace, I thought I would share with you some of my newest thrift store “finds”.

This first one, I’m really excited about because of the legs. They’re on everything these days and they’re not cheap. Plus, they’re much lighter.

I took the top piece off because it was plywood.  Think I’ll probably use pallet boards for the top.

This lamp is wonderful!! The base is solid concrete so it’s perfect for outside. So far I’ve dismantled it and sprayed the concrete part gold and the wood part aqua. I’m looking for some sort of try for the top. Depending on the size of the tray, I will use it either for a bird bath or a small side table.

Then there are these ideas. These are new items that would be so easy to make yourself. I love anything tiered.

How easy would this picture be to paint?

I’ve painted a table like this in my dining room. You’ll see it below. I love painting a piece red with white over top and then distressing it.  Further down you’ll see the adorable tiered table my daughter gave me that I’m going to paint this way.

Here’s the red and white table I painted. I’ve never tired of it.

Here’s the cool little table I’m going to paint. Isn’t this too cute?

I often take pictures of items in stores that I might want to try and make or paint myself. Much of what we see is easy to duplicate or at least imitate and what’s better than an original anything?

All of us are “original” in God’s eye. I love that, don’t you?

Anyway, God bless and have a good day.
