I found a great bargain at Goodwill

Yesterday, I found a great bargain at Goodwill.

Problem is I didn’t buy it. Lost opportunity.

Don’t you just hate it when you see something that just sparks a response in you. You don’t have a clue where you can use it, but still…….

I took a picture of it so I could think about it some more.

I went to check out, having snatched some other items, and there it was. Some one else saw it’s “cuteness” just like I did and she took it immediately to the front so they could hold it while she looked around.

I almost told her, “Hey, that’s my chair! I saw it first.”.

You do know, don’t you, that the person who spots the bargain first has “dibs”.

Anyway, here is the chair that “got away”.

Only me would probably see this as a little beauty. You can’t see it, but the back is concave. It was very comfy.

Oh, well.

Que sera, sera
Whatever will be, will be
The future’s not ours to see
Que sera, sera
What will be, will be

But all is not lost:

Here’s the items I “tucked away” for discount day.

Small cast iron fry pan

This is a ceramic pheasant with a really long tail that shoots upward. I didn’t take a good picture. I was still sobbing from my loss. 🙂  Ordinarily I wouldn’t do a thing to it but I will probably spray paint it various shades of metallic silver. My daughter-in-law has these but hers are a heavy metal so I would like to imitate that.

An electric hair waver.

I’ll let you know if they’re still there.

God bless and have a good day
