Taking a Break From Writing For Some DIY’s.

While I’ve mostly been writing, I have to do some DIY’s as well. And fall is perfect for that.

This first gallery shows how I used a canvas print. I had a clearance picture that had a solid wood surface. Because I didn’t want to put the print behind glass, I decided I would make this work. I had another canvas print, but I didn’t want two pictures. You will see what I did with the second canvas print in the second photo gallery. These projects are pretty straightforward.

I did have to cut down both pictures, one to fit the frame and one to fit the box I was using. After cutting them to size, I applied “Yes” glue (The only one I use for this kind of project. I do dilute it with a little water) to the front of the piece I’m working on.

I placed the canvas where I wanted it on each surface and then continued to smooth out the bubbles. That’s it. The first picture is the one I covered with the white pumpkin print.

Second Fall DIY

This second project took some thinking. I hated cutting down the picture, but I really wanted to put it on the box. The finished project looks like the pumpkins were painted on. I didn’t cover the other side, so I can use it for other occasions.

These were so easy and so much fun.

What are you doing for fall? Have you started any projects?

Happy DIYing.

Have a good day, and God bless.
