the week in review and yea, painting the dining room

This has been a busy week. I’m sure yours was, too.

Monday was about my friendly disagreement with my friend about what is and what is not a lemon meringue pie. I took that my thinking a little further.

Wednesday I posted about an art project.

Thursday was a great link to a blog that highlighted how to spring clean. I mentioned how I had just cleaned seventeen windows at my daughter’s.

I posted later than usual yesterday about how I pick out paint colors. There’s nothing scientific about it.

Today we are going to paint the dining room. I’ve never had a totally white room. Can’t wait to show it to you.

Do you remember how it looked before?

It’s not that I didn’t like it. I did. But it’s time for a change.

The white I’m using is the same color, Cottage White by Behr, as the trim. Plus, I might paint the hutch a different color white. I like how Karie Ann from Thistlewood Farms uses white. And here’s some more white dining rooms.

God bless and have a good week-end.
