don’t take take the “easy” road
Too many people take the “easy” road. When it comes to the “road less traveled”, it really does make all the difference.

For example, yesterday.
It was snowing and icky-looking outside. One of those days you think about skipping church staying in bed.

But we had contacted a couple we recently met and asked them out for coffee after church. We’d talked the day before and decided because of the impending snowstorm, that if one couple didn’t show up, we’d reschedule. We’d been trying to connect for a couple of months.

I slept in late which didn’t help as I like to start my Sunday mornings kind of slow. A couple of cups of leisurely coffee, etc. but I had to cut all that short if we were going to make it on time.
There was a moment I almost made the easy decision to stay home. But I had read somewhere that people should pick the “hard” road whenever possible.
And I know me. I knew that if I didn’t go, I’d regret it.
