My adorable, cute fall decorations. And cheap!

This is my fall decorating.

They are adorable, cute, and cheap. The orange stems below are from Hobby Lobby. I love them against the dark wall.

But first, everything on this blog is out of sync this week as I finishing writing my book.

But first:

I think tomorrow is the day it’s finally getting sent to the publisher. They will read it and decided if they are moving forward. Even though I am self-publishing, I am self publishing through a publisher. Does that make any sense?

This has been the biggest learning curve in my life. It has been said that it takes 10,000 hours to learn a skill. Honestly, writing this book certainly feels like 10,000 hours!

I am excited and scared to death. I’m excited to see it in print but scared to death what people will think. Yet, I know God was behind this book. This is my “more”. (BTW, that will be my second book. It’s already a small e-book here on the blog, but it will become a full-sized book. )

It will be probably be 3- 4 weeks before I hear back with the revisions they suggest. I’m hoping to have it in my hands by the end of 2020. That will be a nice way to end a bad year, huh?

But onto the fall decorating………………

The decorating

This is my hutch for this fall. The picture is a little blurry. The pumpkins are handmade. All the pumpkins are handmade. Some I used DT tree styrofoam pumpkins and covered with fabric.

I used driftwood for the stems.

Believe or not, the foliage in the bottle is from the DT. Not bad, huh? But I saw some great branches in field near my home so I might add some of those as well. Natural branches and twigs are perfect for the fall anyway.

My daughter made the metal ring wreath below and I added a stem and use it during the fall as a pumpkin.

I don’t know what those prickly round things are. They come from a tree but I don’t what kind of tree. Do you? Then they were spray painted them gold.

This is a painting that I didn’t finish but it works as a great backdrop for my fall decorations.

This is in the same room. I used a DT felt decoration and colored in the openings with a marker. The frame itself was $.25 from a garage sale.

This is my fall kitchen table decoration.

Don’t you love the orange plates and the black and white chargers? The napkin holders are from a package of felt sunflowers that I stuck on the napkin holders.

Anyway, that’s my fall decorations for 2020. Let’s hope 2021 is so much better. Right?

Hope your week is going well.

God bless each of you.
