Wise people are wise because they continue to learn.

I read a chapter from Proverbs every day in addition to my scheduled books.

As you probably know, Proverbs is all about instruction. The Proverbs teach us how to live in very practical ways. They are as applicable today as the day they were written.

The verses today tell us that wise people continue to learn. How many people do you know that never seemed to learn? I’m afraid I know a few myself and they’re not necessarily younger in age.

While gaining wisdom as we age should be normal, it sure isn’t. I know some very immature senior citizens and some very wise younger people.

“…..let the wise listen and add to their learning,
and let the discerning get guidance.” Proverbs 1:5-6

What can you learn today that will make you wiser? It doesn’t have to be from a book either.
