A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

God really does answer prayer
I’m late posting today but I forewarned you last week I might be. As it turns out while it’s been really busy with my brother being gone, it’s also been going really well. Mom has not been confused once so far. She is sleeping better at night. I’m hoping the “cocktail” I have her on Read more

Next week could be rough

How God changes drudgery into glory
For the most part wouldn’t you agree that our lives are largely composed of the mundane? Our daily tasks take on a feel of drudgery and boredom. We don’t see how God is glorified through doing our job, whether at home or in a workplace or both. But I think that our “drudgery” becomes transformed Read more

How to make the sun shine on you today
I hope it is. It’s shining on me today but that’s because I’ve finally made a decision I can live with, one I should have made a few days ago. And this decision reflects God’s presence in my life. I can’t go into detail but let me say that my decision meant that someone else will benefit from Read more

What to do when you’re ashamed of yourself
Boy, have you ever gone through a spell when you were thoroughly and completely ashamed of yourself? I sure have. I sure am. Not because I’ve done anything to be ashamed of but because I feel my heart has been so lacking in compassion. We can be so hard on ourselves. We prefer to punish ourselves rather Read more

“He will cover you with his wings”
I like to “collage” which means using paper, paint, and lots of others things to create a painting. It tickles my fancy ’cause I get to play with paper, (my fav), paint, (another fav), and glue. Plus, I can hide a lot of mistakes. Anyway, I will show close-ups for you to get a better idea Read more
