A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

A good day in Paradise and how you can feel good
As I wrote yesterday, this will be a very random week of posts and thoughts. Mom’s doctor’s visit yesterday revealed nothing more about her mental state that we didn’t already know. We just wanted to make sure there was nothing “medical” going on with her. She is losing weight, however. That has me concerned. In Read more

Rough week? Follow God’s map
I had some posts all ready to go this week but I’m putting them on hold. Posts this week will be random and straight from my lips to God’s ears, meaning I won’t edit much and might even ramble a little. Here’s why. If you’ve read any of the posts about my mother, you will Read more

Concentrate on the good to eliminate the bad
This is the time of year we make resolutions, even if we say we don’t. I think it’s just where our minds go. I find it’s more positive to concentrate on the good we want to initiate rather than concentrate on the bad habits we want to change. For example, instead of thinking about losing Read more
