A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

Don’t leave your life’s canvas blank.
Today is a blank canvas. The day stretches before me like a white blanket of snow with no tracks yet. What kind of tracks am I going to make? Are they going to be deep, the plodding, lumbering kind? Or are they going to barely dent the snow as I skip on? I’m determined that this Read more

Story of the Michigan Peacock
My family is always kidding me about my gullibility. For example, if a family member tells me something outlandish, like there’s such a bird as a Michigan peacock (Yes,this happened for real and, yes, I did fall for it), I’m very apt to believe them because of course, they wouldn’t lie. So they always try to Read more

The two best days in your life. What are they?
What do you think about that? Do you agree? I think most of us we agree about the day we were born, at least I hope we do. But what about the finding the “why”? I agree with Mark Twain about the second part but don’t believe it’s a “once for all” why. I Read more

Why Hallmark Christmas movies are a good idea right now.
Wow. Last week was something, wasn’t it? My hubby and I stayed up till the week hours of the morning and I was so glad when I woke up the next morning thinking it was all over. Not! But Christmas is coming and I refuse to let the continuing political storm ruin my holidays. So Read more
