A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

How our hair affects our depression
O.k., today’s post may seem silly. What does hair have to do with depression anyway? Actually, more than you might know. I got to thinking one day that the one”constant” in our lives is our hair. Mine can be wild and unruly. I colored it for years but now embrace my very blond hair. I Read more

What is the one gift God gives to all of us?
Obviously, the greatest gift God has given us is forgiveness and eternal life. But there are many gifts we seldom think of as a gift, and yet they are. One of God’s gift to us and often never received is this: potential. God’s gift to us: potential. Our gift to God: developing it. Author Read more

Why I don’t want to overhear your conversations
Are you as tired as I am of overhearing cell phone conversations where too much is revealed? If I don’t know you, do I really care about your personal business? I’m so tired of hearing more than I want to hear. I was at the dentist’s office last week. A young woman was on her Read more

A great Mother’s Day Church on the beach
Yep, you heard me right. I’m attending church on the beach today. I know I’m supposed to get all dressed up and hear another traditional Mother’s Day sermon. That’s the expected. But I serve a God who is anything but, a God who encourages us to think outside the box on occasion. So I’m in Read more
