A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

I don’t do any of this because I learned a long time ago that nothing is cheaper the day after Christmas. JoAnn’s has already discounted Christmas by 70%. So why Read more

If you’re facing a difficult Christmas today
This may seem like a strange post considering it’s Christmas and I do wish you all a Merry Christmas. But I’m also very aware that Christmas isn’t great for everyone. That sometimes it’s dreaded instead of anticipated. Sometimes we have to deal with really difficult people. If we’re not Christians, we can tell them off Read more

How to to recognize grace when it appears.
Sometimes God shoots grace our way when we least expect it. We might not even recognize it till after the fact. We should, of course. Especially when we’re struggling or busy, like during the Christmas season. But maybe that’s exactly why. We get so entrenched in the problem or the busyness, we don’t see the ray of grace when Read more
