A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

How to cope with the changing seasons
September. A change of seasons. The days are getting shorter. Nature pulls the shade on daylight earlier each day preparing us for “our long winter’s nap.” This is the time for the depression-prone to monitor themselves more closely. Actually it’s been years and years since I did that. I only go the occasional hair-cut and I resent that every bit Read more

How to measure our success with a better scale
I think it’s so easy to get caught up with the world’s way of measuring success. Maybe we need to come up with our own measurement for success. A blog is successful if it’s has thousands of followers. A parent is successful if their children graduate college and make lots of money. A teacher is Read more

How God protects us when we are the least aware
This little cartoon below is really quite profound. So often we think God has let us down because we don’t see the big picture. For the past few weeks, I’ve experienced a lot of pain. I eventually found out that it’s a herniated disc which is pinching some nerves. I started therapy yesterday. Now I Read more

Sorry for the messed up editing on last post
Hey, everyone. I’ve had major trouble with my browser. My editing is not “staying”, if you know what I mean. When I go to the preview page all my sentence structure is gone. Right now as I type everything seems to be working but if I’m “quiet” for the next couple of days, you’ll know Read more

How to keep our spiritual garden weed-free.
Proverbs 24:30-34 30 I went past the field of the sluggard, past the vineyard of the man who lacks judgment; 31 thorns had come up everywhere, the ground was covered with weeds, and the stone wall was in ruins. 32 I applied my heart to what I observed and Read more
