A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

“Gift” yourself some peace and contentment
I would give anything to be able to gift-wrap a sense of well-being for those I love who are in short supply. But I’m learning that I can “gift” contentment only to myself. While other people and adverse circumstances can negatively impact our lives (sometimes dramatically and sometimes for a long time as in the case of grieving), we are responsible for us and how Read more

an update on my mom
I was very concerned about the upcoming tests that were scheduled for my mom. I felt she is too fragile and weak right now for anything invasive. I understood the logic of the hospital staff but felt they should wait a day until she was stronger. I put in a call to her family physician. Read more

follow-up to “please pray”
I posted yesterday from the hospital where my mom was admitted to ICU for a dangerously low blood count. Talked to the nurse this morning and the transfusions have brought her hemoglobin within the normal range. YEA!!!!!!
