A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

Thankfulness/X       Today I am choosing xanthochroism. To say I had limited choices with the letter “X” is redundant. Of course, I could have cheated and used “XOXO” but that would be, hmmm, well, cheating. So what is xanthochroism?  It is the abnormal coloration of feathers in which yellow replaces the normal Read more

  • Chicago, Chicago, that wonderful town.

Well, we have no free Internet here at hotel. We’re too cheap to pay so I’m posting from my phone again. As you can probably guess from yesterday’s post, I haven’t bought anything yet. Almost positive it won’t be clothes anyway. My thrift shop clothes are fine by me. I’m actually finding better quality than Read more

Hubby and I on way to Chicago via Amtrak. My first Amtrak ride. Thoroughly enjoying it. Looking forward to seeing Chicago during Holiday season. Have always wanted to do this. I’ll be on my own during day as hubby will be working. I’ve already decided I’m having at least one cappuccino per day. Looking forward Read more

thankfulness/U Ukulele, umbrellas, unchanging, underestimate, understanding, unity, unique, unspoken, unusual, upbeat, uplifting. I almost picked unity. But that sounded like what a beauty pageant contestant would pick to expound on for the judges were she given a choice. I can hear it now, “I just what unity in the world.” I don’t want to be Read more
