God works through prayer

From the beginning of time, God chose to work through human beings.

Sometimes I wished He hadn’t.

But He does.

The world is not a mess because God wills it so, but because He needs us to work out His plan. We are the ones that unleash His will through our actions and our prayers. Countless Scriptures support this.

Read about Elijah and Daniel and you will see God and Man working together.

Intercessory prayer unleashes God’s power on earth.

Can God sometimes release His power and intercede without our asking? Yes.
He can and He does.

But it’s God’s desire that we are a part of the plan. Probably for our sake.

Andrew Murray says. “God’s giving is inseparably connected with our asking….”

Of course, it’s not as simple as it sounds. Our lives and how we live them make a difference, our belief in prayer, our asking for the things that square with God’s teaching, all of this matters.

But for today, just remember, God has so much stored up for us, just waiting for us to request.

God bless and I hope you have a good day.
