Where can I hide
Till “‘It” goes away?
What can I do
When will I play?

Is He even there?
I know He is
But I don’t feel His care.

“Soul, why so blue”?
I echo King David,
“It’s up to you.”
But you are rising up
With each new dawn.
Your smile will return
You will have a new song.
