I’m walkin’. Yes, indeed.

(Hope you recognize the lyrics. They’re from a Fats Domino song.)

I’m finally mobile. Only using a crutch.

Even cleaned the laundry room. Going to try and pull some weeds in the garden if I can figure out how to bend over without falling.

(Cue in TV commercial)

“Help. I’ve fallen and can’t get up.”

Seriously, it’s only been three weeks since surgery. But it feels like three months.

So much of life is like that, isn’t?

Trials come our way and we can’t see past the moment.

It’s hard to keep a positive perspective.

But life is so much easier if we learn to say, “This, too, will pass.”

For those of you who are in the middle of a trial, I’m thinking of you today.

Hang in there.

God bless and I hope you have a good day.
