I read more in the summer.
Do you?
I signed up at the library for the summer reading program. I was at my daughter’s last week-end and she told me about this book. She was reading a different one by the author, called “Beartown”. But she also had the other one so I read the first few pages. I immediately ordered from my library via Overdrive.
By the way, have you tried Overdrive? It might be called something different in your own state. It’s an app you can get that allows you to download e-books onto your preferred mobile. I use my nook.
I usually only buy fiction books via BookBub, the library, or garage sales. This is one book I would buy even at full price.
It’s about a grumpy older man. It’s hysterical. It’s sad. It’s bittersweet. It’s heartbreaking. It’s touching. It’s profound.
I never laugh out loud when I read a book.
I don’t cry when I read a book.
I did both.
I hope you’ll give it a try.
If you read it, tell me what you think.
God bless and have a good day.
