A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

What Botox teaches us about depression
Botox injections “freeze” the face and prevent its recipients from moving their face and showing emotion. We’ve all seen it. Celebrities whose faces seem set in stone. We laugh about it. But what if this teaches us something about our moods. Maybe Botox has another “up” side. (Oh, my, that was a great pun, wasn’t… Read more

Empty spaces lead to strong minds, part 2
“Space” is what we all need more of. It’s what gives us time to think before we make rash decisions. “Spaces” is what makes music beautiful. “Space” makes us beautiful , too. Read more

How empty spaces create great minds, part 1
I read something interesting: “Do you know what makes music?” The answer? The space between the notes. If it weren’t for those quiet spaces, all we would hear is constant noise. Where is that space in our lives? Where are those quiet, contemplative moments when we can reflect and meditate? If our minds are constantly “chattering”, how does… Read more
