A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

  • How to respond when people disappoint us

It’s hard to be disappointed in people. And there’s not a riper time than the holiday season when hopes run high and expectations are unrealistic. I have a really long rope, but sometimes I get to the end of it. It hurts to realize you’ve been deceived, that you’ve got someone so wrong. But usually we’re… Read more

  • How God helps us find lost things

How God helps us find lost things

God helps me find things. I believe that is scriptural. God talks about “searching” and “finding” a lot. Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Luke 11:9 “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to… Read more

Why I shop after Christmas sales

Now comes the “after Christmas shopping”. Do any of you go out and buy your gift wrapping paper for next year? How about discounted Christmas decorations? Clothes? I don’t do any  of this because I learned a long time ago that nothing is cheaper the day after Christmas. JoAnn’s has already discounted Christmas by 70%. So why… Read more
