A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

  • I’m walkin’. Yes, indeed.

(Hope you recognize the lyrics. They’re from a Fats Domino song.) I’m finally mobile. Only using a crutch. Even cleaned the laundry room. Going to try and pull some weeds in the garden if I can figure out how to bend over without falling. (Cue in TV commercial) “Help. I’ve fallen and can’t get up.” Read more

  • Artists and imagination

An artist never says “no” to imagination. Isn’t that a great statement? And it’s so true. An artist looks at a piles of stones-inspiration! A box of crayons-inspiration! A pile of junk-inspiration! A bag of seashells-inspiration! Empty jars-inspiration! Tin cans-inspiration! Paper-inspiration! A true artist sees possibilities everywhere. Nothing is as it seems to be. • decorating vignette ideas

Still recovering from surgery. So I’ve been cruisn’ on my stroller and re-working some areas in my house that are accessible to me. You know, those pesky accessory arrangements that offer such a quandary. At least they do for me. So before I show you some of the areas I’m working on, I thought I’d Read more

  • “This is what you should do” (Walter Whitman).

I found this piece of prose at  http://dailyinspirationblog.com. It’s from Walt Whitman. I want to give a shout out to The Alchemist. I don’t know if he’s the author of the this blog or not. Had a hard time figuring it out but wanted to make sure I give credit where credit is due. I didn’t Read more
