A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

Jesus Himself was very direct (specific) with people. Most people choose to ignore this part of His personality. They prefer to focus on the love and forgiveness part and ignore Read more

  • Handicapped parking and jerks

I’m sorry. I don’t usually call people jerks but in this case, it applies. Even though I’m a Christian,  I’m calling them jerks. I’m talking about people who take handicap parking spaces when they are clearly not handicapped. We’ve all see those cars taking up spaces with no sticker on the mirror and no handicap Read more

  • in your face

What do you do when God puts something you’ve been able to avoid for a while right in your face? That’s what happened to me today. It felt: Awkward Uncomfortable Unsettling. It was at church of all places. And during communion. A time when I should be feeling calm and peaceful and untroubled. But I Read more
