week in review and another cabin guest

Monday’s post was a little unusual for me. I’ve been reading a lot about the brain. I shared with you how we even have memory in our fingers.

Tuesday I posted about my husband’s emergencies over the years. I shared my story just in case someone needed some encouragement.

Thursday, because of a medical issue I dealt with last week, I wrote a longer than usual post about how our health should be our business, first and foremost.

Friday I shared how we should never be limited by what the “authorities” suggest is our future based on statistics. We are never just a number. We are always more than what the statistics suggest.

This next week grandson number two, age seven, will be spending a week with us. You may not hear from me as much as I think I just might be busy.:)

When you hear the conversation I had last night,  I think you will understand how my week is going to go.

My daughter called me last night. “Uhm, mom, you might want to check his bag. He’s packed some unusual things.”

She went on, “Well, he’s packed an alarm clock for one thing and I have no idea why. But the crazy thing is, he’s packed a “dustbuster”.

dustbuster

“A dustbuster?”, I asked incredulously. “What in the world for?”

“Well, he said if he spilled something in the truck then he could vacuum it up.”

At this point I’m howling in laughter. I tell my husband and he joins in.

This is some funny kid. So I think you know how this next week is going to go.

By next weekend I’m going to be one exhausted woman. But what a way to go, huh?

God bless and I hope you have a good day.
