A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

fresh eyes/fresh viewpoint I think I mentioned a few days ago about how fresh coat of paint can really brighten our mood, not just our walls.  Well, my friend whose kitchen I helped paint is now putting everything back together. I had previously told her to fill in the nail holes so she would be forced Read more

anyway (continued from yesterday) The biggest men and women with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest men and women with the smallest minds. Think big anyway. • anyway

anyway I read this book a few years ago and I thought I’d share some of the precepts over the next two days. “People are illogicial, unreasonable, and self-centered.” Love them anyway. “If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.” Do it anway. If you are successful, you will win false friends Read more

  • a messy life

(I painted the picture above on YUPO paper. I have no idea what it’s supposed to be but l like it. It reminds me that life is ambiguous at best.) a messy life I don’t know about you but I find life pretty messy a lot of time. The perplexities, the questions, the downright confusion. I have a hard time understanding Read more
