Alphabet of thanks, “E”

E, for “Easy”

hard

hard

Today I’m thankful for “easy” things. Do you know what I mean?

There are so many hard things in life. What’s hard for me may not be hard for you. And, of course, the opposite is true.

For me, “hard” things are:

Avoiding “sweets”

Mercurial people

Walking

Unscrewing lids

My hair

Emptying the dishwasher

Crowds

Saying good-bye

Confrontations

Shoe shopping

Wearing shoes

Cooking

Etc.

So I like “easy”.

easy

easy

Reading

Praying

Bible study

Painting

Creating

Even-keeled people

Coffee

Pizza

Voting

Baking

Filling the dishwasher

Exercising

Etc.

God bless and I hope you have a good day.

I have a Psychology degree and post-graduate courses in Clinical Pastoral Education. I am a former hospital chaplain, Bible teacher, and retreat/conference inspirational speaker.
