Alphabet of thanks, “H”

What to do with “H”. Seeing as I’m having one of my favorite breakfasts this morning, it’s “Honey”.

A few years ago my husband was working in Georgia and I went along for the ride. A local restaurant had a a Croissant/honey/nut breakfast roll. I was hooked. So now I have it as often as possible.

Here’s what you do.

Split and toast the croissant.

Spread a little butter.

Spread a little honey.

Sprinkle with pecans.

To die for!

honey/nut croissants

honey/nut croissants

honey/nut croissants.

honey/nut croissants.

But when I think about it, my favorite cookie recipe is made also uses honey and pecans. A friend of mine was married to a man of Armenian descent. This particular recipe had been handed down for years. I make these bars every Christmas. (Don’t know why I don’t make them more often.)

Give them a try. You will love them.

God bless and I hope you have a good day.
