When you just don’t get it.

Am I the only one who just “doesn’t get it”?

Are you wondering what I “don’t get”?

Well, it’s a number of things:

I don’t get a lot of things but man’s inhumanity to man is always at the top of my list. If I dwell on it too long, I get so discouraged. But I always remind myself that God sees it all and yet loves even the vilest offender.

I’ll bet you do, too.

Plus, I feel helpless. What can I do? I have written my congressman about some issues but who knows where that goes.

So I pray.

Every day.

I pray that true followers of Christ will make their voices heard. I pray they will be strong and not be afraid to be criticized for their beliefs.

Oh, that’s another one I don’t get. How Christians are so maligned because of their faith and yet agnostics and atheists aren’t. Certainly, there is hypocrisy amongst them as well.

Anyway, that’s my list for today.

I am encouraged though knowing that God is in control of the final outcome if not the present circumstances. (because of man’s free will.)

I trust your week is going well. God bless each of you.
