Why I’m exercising at 7:00 tonight

I usually don’t post more than once a day.

But I got to thinking about a post I wrote last week. Tonight is one of those nights and I wanted to tell you about in real time.

My mom has fallen three times in the past two and one-half weeks. Broke her wrist during one such fall. So the first week after the broken wrist was really busy because she needed a lot of help.

The next fall was just last Saturday. There has been a flurry of activity since then. Arranging for nursing, OT and PT visits. Re-arranging the house. Getting her to use the walker. That was fun!

NOT!!!!!

I took the morning off because, well, I’m tired. But I’ve just eaten dinner and the elliptical machine is calling.

I DO NOT WANT TO DO THIS. BUT DOING DOES IT. NOT TALKING ABOUT IT. DOING IT.

I want you to feel encouraged with whatever you are facing at this seven o’clock hour.

Depression would just love to take over now and certainly it might if I don’t get up and get moving.

So no matter what you are dealing with tonight, do what you need to do to keep yourself mentally and physically healthy. The one depends on the other, you know.

God bless.
