A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

My husband surprised me with a trip for Mother’s Day. We are headed to the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum in Kentucky. I like to take pictures when we travel and especially of barns. I really like this first one as it looks like the buildings are outlined in black. Plus I like the… Read more

Sometimes weekends are hard, aren’t they?

Unstructured time is hard when you’re depressed. Many people don’t function their best when their day is totally unstructured. I used to dread the weekends. I couldn’t wait till it was over because my weekdays followed a routine. and that gave me a feeling of security. I knew what to expect……. Read more

  • More pictures of my absolutely adorable, “happy place”

I promised to show you more pictures of my cute little she-shed. You can see my reflection in the mirror. It’s so hard to take a picture with a mirror in it. We added the shelves between the studs. I always knew I wanted to do that. I never wanted real walls. This way I… Read more
