A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

But at the same time, the truth cannot be ignored. Depression IS treatable. It can be overcome. It doesn’t matter how we got into the pit, we can get… Read more

When depression can no longer be your excuse. Follow up.
(I am reposting this tonight with some changes. I’m afraid I didn’t make myself clear enough the first time around.) What happens when you can no longer use your depression as an excuse? We can get so comfortable with our depression that it becomes our mantra. It’s convenient. It’s a way to keep people away.… Read more

I screwed up over the weekend. Here’s how.
We are presently on our way home from our cabin, so I’m posting from my cell phone. I used my time at the cabin to do a lot of reading about depression. I’ve read it all before but wanted to read it all again. I wanted to refresh my memory to be sure that what… Read more
