A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

Did Jesus really speak harshly to his mother?
Here’s my take on John 2:1-11 First of all, let’s ask, “Why was Mary upset about the lack of wine at a wedding that wasn’t for one of her children?” It’s clear she had some sort of role otherwise she wouldn’t have been concerned. Maybe she was helping a friend or distant relative. So she… Read more

Are you really listening to God?
I Samuel 3:10 “Speak , for your servant hears”. I love that Samuel took the initiative here. Just because we listened to God yesterday, doesn’t guarantee we’ll listen today. Or that if we do, we will obey. Let’s face it. We probably all have selective hearing when it comes to hearing and obeying God. So… Read more

Will it never end? Mass shootings in America.
Most of the time I check out my titles with Headline Analyzer. I didn’t for this post. There’s no way to put a positive spin on this subject. And I’m sure I don’t have any better answers than anyone else. But what I do know is that violence of any kind doesn’t live by itself. It isn’t… Read more

So many projects, so little time
Nothing exciting today. I kinda’ like days like that, don’t you? But I have been organizing and cleaning out a lot of stuff which I feel good about. Inevitably, that means finding some “treasures” from the past. Crafts I have long since abandoned and then when I find them I realize how much I used to enjoy… Read more

How God speaks through our doubt.
Guess what? As I write, hubby and I are sensing God telling us to cancel our trip. Yep, you heard it right. Cancel. So I’m writing this on a Saturday because I think it’s important to follow-up on that post. Hmm, so how did I get here after the snowplow analogy from yesterday? Didn’t I say God… Read more

Sorry I was AOL (the condition not the web server)
Hey, everyone, I’m sorry I didn’t get my usual post out this morning. I had some “important” errands to run (you’ll hear about those next week but take the word “important” lightly. K?). But before that, I had to get my walk in. My husband and I decided to drive to our nearby state park… Read more
