Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.
Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.
There’s something I say to myself whenever I’m blown away by God’s intervention in my life in a way that defies explanation. I was thinking the other day, “Why is it so difficult to change something?” Sometimes it’s a habit we want to start. Sometimes it’s a habit we want to stop. As I was thinking about this, I thought about a small project a friend of mine is starting. I said small because it’s a small thing… Read more
It’s a little early for garage sales but I did find an estate sale over the weekend. I spent more than I usually do but I really like this African deer head. It’s probably about sixteen inches high. Not real big but just big enough. ($6.00) Then there’s this little embroidered scarf. Then there’s… Read more
I hope you understand this post today, that I’m not being mean. Because that’s not the point of it but I have noticed something recently and I couldn’t help but make some comparisons from what I’ve noticed on some blogs and about life itself. To me, one could make the comparison that clutter and disingenuousness… Read more
I love little tables. I think I have at least seven small table but three are nesting tables. I can’t wait to get to them this spring. This particular table started out, actually, I can’t remember how it started it. LOL But in this first picture, you can see that I had painted it the… Read more
