A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

I mean it’s a really good question on so many different levels, isn’t it? But that’s for a future post. Anyway……… Read more

Summer in Michigan is almost here. People who live here love summer. Our summers are usually beautiful. But they’re short. So most of us are busy, busy, busy during those months. That means making plans. But God is the Great Interrupter of our plans. And I’m so glad. I stand in amazement every day that God cares Read more

How God rescues us when we’re depressed
“I waited patiently for the LORD; And he inclined to me and heard my cry. He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay. And he sert my feet upon a rock, making my footsteps firm. He put a new son in my mouth, a song of praise to Read more

What to do when God seems to hide
Would you agree that life can get pretty “messy” at times. The perplexities, the questions, the downright confusion. We have a hard time understanding where God is at times. It’s like he’s hiding. Do you ever feel that way? When really good people get seriously ill, I think, “Why him?”, “Why her?” Shouldn’t illnesses like cancer Read more
