A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

  • do as much good as you can

The weight of our struggles seem like too heavy of a load at times. Overcoming is a concept we’re sure doesn’t apply to us. But the truth is probably someone in the Read more

Wanted to share my day with you. My hubby and I built a pergola-type shade structure on our deck. I can’t wait to show you the pictures.  It was quite a job. Will tell you all about it as soon as I get the pictures ready. Anyway, today I wanted to drape the cloth over Read more

  • guiltless fun

fun without the guilt   Some of us are just born old. Asking us when we knew we were grown-ups is like asking us to solve a quantum physics problem in our head. We simply have no frame of reference; we’ve always felt grown-up. As children we felt the weight of the world on our Read more

OK. I hate to admit my stupidity again but here goes. I suppose all of you know all about the “featured image thingee”  on the Dashboard.
