A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

  • good news and bad news

Hi everyone. I was so excited to share with you today about how my church was supporting my blog. • what a day

This has been quite a day. Actually, quite a couple of days. Remember my sad story about my Ford Taurus?  Well, yesterday, the “junk car people” came and picked it up. I was sad. No, really, I was sad. That car had served me well for eighteen years. Not once it ever stall on me. Read more

  • a strange and holy hush

The title of my post  today is from a little  book called “Interludes” by Linda Anderson. Ordinarily I only use Oswald Chambers for my private devotional time but every once in a while I pick this one up. I really like the phrase, “a strange and holy hush”.  I have the TV turned off, of Read more

  • the never-ending project

For some reason this posted from my phone. So forgive me for posting again. Plus, it posted to the wrong blog.  Anyway, this door is never going to get done.
