A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

Today I encountered a new “worm”. Or should I say an old “worm” that just hadn’t shown its head for quite a while. The worm that’s eating my apple today is comparison and envy. Our moods can easily plummet when we let our guard down even a little. I’m having  a perfectly wonderful day. Hubby Read more

how to handle doubts as a Christian

I sure am glad my last post was about grace because today I’m feelin’ the lack of it.  Doesn’t mean it isn’t there.  God’s grace probably shines on us more often than we realize. Do you ever have days like that?  Days when you’re feeling “unsettled”, not quite “with it”. It’s usually days like that I Read more

ttp://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/06/27/daily-prompt-art/  art is more than just talent I love art. Love looking at it, love making it. I wouldn’t call myself an artist although others might. I’ve been fortunate in that I’ve been to the Louvre in Paris a few times. The Musee de Orsay is wonderful, too. I actually like de Orsay better as it Read more
