A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

So why can’t Christians express their views?

I was never wanted to post anything political or controversial but here I go. I just got off my Facebook page where someone posted “How sad they were that most Christians don’t get this whole “marriage equality” thing. All I can say is that is arrogant beyond belief. • What is humility and what does it look like?

Thailand  I opened the door in response to the quiet knock. A timid young Thai woman bowed her head and mumbled some words. “Why was she bowing?” I asked myself. She had on a uniform with the name of the hotel embroidered on it, so I knew her to be one of the hotel staff. Read more

  • Humility-what it is, what it isn’t

  • Spring. Yea!

Is everyone as excited about spring as I am?  In case you’ve forgotten, I live in Michigan. We have very long winters and this year was no exception. But the snow is melting and yesterday I saw a blue bird stuffing twigs into our faded birdhouse nailed to a tree directly in front of what Read more
