A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

Why is national mental health week important?
Why we think the way we do about mental illness Mental health awareness is the month of May. More and more people are being diagnosed and probably twice as many aren’t. Denials Mental health awareness took on a new meaning for me last week. It shouldn’t have because I know many who feel the same Read more

When it’s not your circus and they’re not your monkeys
Not your circus. Not your circus. If I had to give someone a sage piece of advice about relationships, I would say: “Don’t get caught up in drama that isn’t yours.” “If you don’t own the circus, they’re not your monkeys”. (This is an older post but I think it bears repeating. My mother-in-law has Read more

Consistency in our faith. Not always easy.
God expects us to be consistent in our faith, no matter the season. Seasons of Faith I’m not talking about seasonal seasons, like summer, spring, winter, or fall. Nor am I talking about seasons of life as in ages, 20, 30, 40, and so on. I’m talking about a different season. Mountain top faith I’m Read more
