A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

  • Boy, did I score this week-end. Great finds!

Sometimes you hit it just right. This weekend was one of those. I don’t always find garage sales where the person is my size and likes the same kind of clothes I do. But last Friday I found the perfect match. Small sizes and just my style. Here’s a few pics. Each of these pieces… Read more

  • The day is here! Construction to begin.

I am sitting on the front porch of my little bunkhouse waiting for the materials for the addition to be delivered. I can’t believe the day is finally here. But while I am excited I also wish I could tell my mom all about it. I want to show her the “process” pictures. I want… Read more

(This post today was a follow-up to yesterday’s post. This happened four years ago and I had kind of forgotten about it. That’s what is so great about blogging. I have a record of past events. I was very vague when I wrote this but now with the recent death of my mom, I can… Read more

When our soul is in despair

I had a rough week last week. My IBS was in high gear again. I had lots of discomfort and it brought my mood down. No, let me be honest. It wasn’t discomfort. That’s like a doctor saying, “This is going to be a little uncomfortable.” You’ve all been there, haven’t you? It wasn’t uncomfortable,… Read more
