A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

When you’re too blond for your own good

I hate to admit it but I’m really blond sometimes. Someone should just hold me down sometimes to keep me from screwing up. It’s embarrassing to be so dense at times. Like a few years ago when I called my husband from my car. I was at my painting teacher’s home. I had just gathered… Read more

Six helpful steps (Everyday Health) for managing depression

I found this on Everyday Health and thought it was spot-on. Seeing as my mother died just very recently, a relapse into depression is something I’m acutely on the look-out to avoid. I know for a fact that number three and number five have really worked well for me. However, although I agree with the… Read more

  • A simple Diy using an old picture frame and wallpaper

I thought I would share a couple of my favorite DIYs over the next couple of weeks. This one was ridiculously simple and cheap and yet really accomplished what I wanted it to. We had recently repainted a guest bedroom and I had a blank wall. I needed something to fill it and I wanted… Read more
