A new approach. I hope you like it.

Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.

So, what do you think?

Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?

Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.

I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

It affected her left… Read more

When you say, “I would never do that.”

Have you ever thought, “Oh, I would never do that, say that, feel that, etc.” I used to say those things, too. No more. I’ve been pulled up my be bootstraps these past few weeks as I’ve had to deal with something I never thought would give me a moment’s concern. It’s a blessing but… Read more

How clearing our “space” clears our minds

It’s amazing how a fresh coat of paint or painting anything can make a difference in how we feel. I helped paint my friends TV room last year. To encourage her to think with fresh eyes, I told her to not only take everything off her walls but to fill in the nail holes as well.… Read more

What to do when you feel selfish

I wrote this post almost four years ago. Because this past week has been filled to the brim and it’s Monday morning, I decided to look back over some older posts and I came across this one. I’m glad I did. A wonderful benefit of blogging is that you have a written history of how… Read more
