Think you’ll like my paper tissue garland

(If you read my posts starting last week Thursday, you know my husband was taken to ER for what looked like a heart attack. Praise God it wasn’t. Don’t for sure what it was but could have been dehydration. We will be seeing his primary care physician this week. It was scary but we both agree some great good came from it. I will be sharing that in a later post.)

I made this at the cabin last week. It’s just tissue paper rolled up into a flower. Then I wrapped some yarn around them. I wanted to hang them as a garland but when I tried the flowers would turn upside down. So after getting very frustrated, I decided to just drape them on the shelves in the bunkhouse.

I think it turned out good.

I should tell you that after having made it, I stepped on it about three times. I just fluffed them up and voila’, it was good.

Here are some pictures of other garlands and how to make tissue paper flowers. BTW, I should have watched this video sooner myself. Duh!

I can see I need to start over with my garland. Would have helped had I read the directions.

Yes, you will be seeing updated pictures from the bunkhouse which has no bunk beds and really is a she-shed I guess. It was built in 2011 and I was way before my time so the concept of a she-shed wasn’t on the horizon then. And it’s pretty obvious, it isn’t a man-cave, right?

God bless and I hope you have a good day.
