So many projects, so little time

Nothing exciting today.

I kinda’ like days like that, don’t you?

But I have been organizing and cleaning out a lot of stuff which I feel good about.

Inevitably, that means finding some “treasures” from the past. Crafts I have long since abandoned and then when I find them I realize how much I used to enjoy doing them, creating them, editing, them, painting them, etc.

Are you like that?

I don’t know how many of you have heard of ATC’s, Artist Trading Cards. I used to belong to various groups that exchanged these with each other. In short, they are little pieces of art and there a number of sites that one can sign up for to exchange cards with other members. They all have to be an ATC size which I believe is 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. There are themes published (sometimes a color, sometimes a subject, etc.) and one picks a theme and usually designs whatever number cards are required and then sends them out. In return, the same number is sent back in exchange.

Anyway, here’s a couple of links.

So as is my usual modes Operandi, I took it a step further. For a few Christmas’s (a number of years ago) I designed a set for my daughter and a friend. I included various inspirational sayings. I think I gave them enough for about three months. They love them and still use them.

However, I kept some for myself in case I want to pursue this again in the future. These are a few of my favorite. They represent various techniques, collage, Sculpy, paint, and stamping

And a total aside. Don’t you just love this table? I am so-o-o-o-o making this. Find it on Houzz. You can tell I’m in one those moods right? Where I have a lot of projects I want to get started.  It must be getting close to spring.

Right?

Of course, now that we’re not going to Florida (which both hubby and I are still at peace about), I will have extra time to get some needed projects done.

Yea!!!!!!!

Anyway, God bless each of you today and I hope it’s a really good day for you.
