A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

Saint Augustine I’ve also read this quote somewhere: Today’s necessities could… Read more

Do we have to “feel” brave to “be” brave?
Three Vietnam war POW’s (prisoners of war), were being interviewed. They were asked this question, “How would you define courage?” Here’s what one of them said. “Courage is fear that has been prayed”. Isn’t that great? I think sometimes followers of Christ think they must feel brave before they act brave. Do you think Peter necessarily felt brave when… Read more

How to describe something so tender and yet heartbreaking
I don’t hardly know where to begin. How do I describe something so tender and meaningful and yet so heartbreaking? Or even should I? Should I keep it wrapped up like a present open it later for all of you to share? I asked myself all these questions before I wrote this post because this… Read more

Can we be too cheap sometimes?
I wonder if any of you are like me, too cheap, at times. Sometimes we need to quit thinking so “cheap”. “Cheap thinking” is, by my personal definition, trying so hard to save a dime that we work against our own natural energy and strength. For example, I’ve been changing things up a little in… Read more
