A new approach. I hope you like it.
Sometimes, new is good. I hope you’ll overlook the fact that I am reposting. I wanted to see what this looked like. Maybe I’ll post something like this every end-of-month, so in case you didn’t read a post, they are all in one place.
So, what do you think?
Besides, trying something new is good, right? And considering it’s the end of the month, it works out well.

Plus, I like being able to see my posts this way as well. It’s been two months of reflection and sorting things out. Mental health, identifying the truly important, and relationships. Some pretty heady subjects. But what else is there to do in these two dark, cold months?
Now, I contend with this Afib diagnosis. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the medications. But I try to see things in perspective. It’s not terminal. It’s treatable. Perspective certainly helps. Besides, I’m an overcomer in Christ.
If faith doesn’t work during times of illness, when will it?
I hope you have a great weekend and blessings to each of you.

alphabet of thanks, A and B
A. “I’m a day behind for the post a day challenge for November. We were gone for the week-end so I’m catching up today.” I will be trying to post something I’m thankful for every day. Some days it will be extremely short, sometimes long. Sometimes funny, sometimes serious.” Yesterday I was thankful for apples because my daughter and… Read more

waiting for the clouds to move
It’s almost November. For some of you that doesn’t mean much. Here in Michigan, it means less and less daylight. Season Affective Disorder is very real here. November first means it will be dark by about 6:00 PM. Yikes! It’s hard to maintain a positive attitude when dark clouds seemed stalled over our heads and there’s a… Read more

DIY projects for small porch.
This bench was made for me by my Dad. If you look at the top you will notice the wood is really thick. You can’t buy lumber this thick anymore. I don’t know where he got it. Anyway, it was painted a red/orange years ago as you can see from the inside of the legs.… Read more
